About AGBC Frankfurt

We are an all-volunteer, non-partisan, non-profit networking organization dedicated to improving American-German relationships on both a business and personal level.

Our Foundation & History

Who We Are & What We Stand For

The American-German Business Club (AGBC) was founded in Bonn in 1964, then the capital city of West Germany. In 1994 the American-German Business Club Frankfurt e.V. was founded. It is now the largest AGBC chapter in Germany with several hundred members, both corporate and individual. Our group was started to help solidify and improve American-German relationships on both a business and personal level. We welcome all nationalities who speak English. We are a non-partisan networking club discussing up-to-date political and business issues. English is the language of our Club. Several U.S. Consulates General have been major supporters of this all-volunteer, non-profit organization.

As the financial and transport heart of continental Europe, Frankfurt am Main serves as a vital bridge between North America and the Federal Republic of Germany. AGBC Frankfurt brings together executives, diplomats, academics, and energetic entrepreneurs under one warm roof.

Our club functions strictly in English, making it seamless for expatriates moving to Hesse, American professionals stationed abroad, and internationally minded German leaders to collaborate without linguistic barriers.
